We highly suggest annual vet visits which should include wellness exams, CBC with chemistry and fecal gram stains. These are wellness/preventative tests which will help you stay ahead of any health concerns your bird may have.
Make sure your veterinarian is Avian Board Certified and regularly sees Psittacines.
